Lucky for me my teaching journey has led me to the Mountain Community School. I have loved working here for close to a decade now. We are able to see each child for who they are and help them be the best version of themselves.

I love teaching at The Mountain Community School because we value teaching the whole child. We value engaging and hands-on learning experiences. We celebrate the individual as well as collaboration and teamwork. I am proud to be part of this community where all members are not only respected, but loved.

My goals as a teacher are to spark curiosity and wonder, allow students to explore and question through hands-on experiences, build empathy and community through literature, and to foster a mindset of life-long learning.

I am honored and excited to start a new chapter teaching Kindergarten here at TMCS. I am passionate about our small community and helping young minds and hearts grow.

When I first went back to school for my teaching license I knew I wanted to teach at a small school with a strong sense of community. It took a while, but my path finally led me to The Mountain Community School. TMCS is a small school that has a very strong sense of community, and teaching here is my dream job!
