Physical Education

Anthony Wallace

After graduating with a degree in Physical Education from SUNY Brockport I moved to Charleston, SC and taught PE/Health and coached lacrosse and basketball. My wife and I visited the mountains of western NC in 2015 and decided to make the move. She is the current third grade teacher here at TMCS. Along with teaching PE I am also the AD here and coach flag football, basketball, and soccer. Go Mountain Lions!

Physical Education FAQ

Your child will be graded on participation, behavior, and good sportsmanship.  Students will not be graded on their athletic ability.  Here at TMCS we recognize that all children are different and we encourage students to try their best at all times.

Students will be participating in a wide variety of activities.  Examples are team building, cooperative games, tag games, fitness activities, sports activities (basketball, football, etc), and low organizational games.
