I am the elementary EC Teacher. I graduated from Western Carolina with a B.S. in Special Education, have earned a M.Ed. in Elementary K-6, and have received my National Board Certification. I am married and have 5 children, three of them attended TMCS. I work with children in and out of the classroom throughout the day to meet the unique needs of each student.
I assist teachers in identifying children who need extra support and helping to provide that support. Struggling students have individual plans and are monitored to ensure growth. New concepts are taught in a way that every student can access the information. I choose and love TMCS because of the positive atmosphere and dedicated teachers. I feel that choices that we make are based on the circumstances we are put in and TMCS provides the ideal environment for children to grow.
