TMCS Flagship Experiences

The TMCS Flagship Experiences are what we believe to be the most impactful opportunities available to each TMCS student throughout their enrollment.

Experiential Learning

Hands-on experiences/reflection lead to deeper understanding of ideas and enable students to more easily integrate this new knowledge into their lives.

In the field.
On the go.

Every class incorporates field trips and outdoor learning opportunities. Whether traveling off-campus or utilizing the campus-adjacent Jackson Park, learning while moving is a lot of fun for everyone!

Enrichment Through Exploratories

Each quarter, Middle-Schoolers select an exploratory elective to expose themselves to something new or learn a new skill, meeting twice per week. Topics vary each quarter with student input.

Sports & Clubs

The togetherness of teamwork strengthens character and interpersonal bonds. Options include traditional sports, outdoor-sports/adventure clubs, as well as activities like chess and Lego-building.

After-School with Purpose

We’ll be introducing an all-new afterschool experience in the ’25-26 school year. We think they’re going to love it!

FAMILY PARTICIPATION

Families are welcomed into the TMCS Community and encouraged to actively participate in their child’s education by volunteering in-class, on field-trips, in specific class activities, and in campus “work days.”

CONTRIBUTING TO COMMUNITY

Contributing to the goals of others provides opportunities for each child to learn about a community organization/cause and explore their own individual skills/talent that may prove helpful to others.
